DJ Darren

Starting his career at the tender age of 16, Dj Darren cut his teeth with local radio stations Beat106 (Xfm Scotland), Clyde 1 and Virgin Radio. It was here that he realised that radio wasn't for him and that djing to the masses was his passion!

Initially beginning his career at Delmonicas in 1998, Darren quickly rose through the ranks to take Saturday nights and eventually become their number 1 resident. Whilst working in Delmonicas, he made the short trip next door to The Polo Lounge, building up Sunday nights; making them the busiest gay Sunday night around.

Leaving The Polo Lounge and Delmonicas in 2002 Darren has since worked in some of the biggest clubs in Scotland and Ireland - The Garage, Cube, Byblos, Union Street and Shoe Factory but has since returned to Sunday nights in Demonicas.

Having been with Allure at The Tunnel almost from the beginning, he continues to supply the music for everyones mid week soundtrack that keeps them flocking back in their masses, making Allure one of the busiest midweek nights in the city, if not Scotland.

Playing the songs the people want to hear is the secret to this night that everyone in the Gay community can't keep away from!
